Lydia Alvarado has 20 years in law enforcement experience. She has been a licensed instructor since 1991 and obtained a Vocational Teaching Certification in 1995. In 1995, she was presented with the prestigious Texas “Enrique Camerena” Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Lydia has developed curriculum and instructed thousands of people in anti-drug and gang courses, youth group development, parent training, conflict resolution, college accredited criminal justice training, mental health certification, communications, problem solving, crisis negotiations, and law enforcement ethics. Lydia has detailed and diversified law enforcement background, holding positions as training coordinator, investigator, internal affairs (supervisor), telecommunications, and correction’s. Alvarado’s instructional and educational backgrounds include a Texas, Master Law Enforcement Officer Certification, and licenses as an instructor, mental health officer, jailer, and telecommunication operator, among others. |
