Jason Guffey

Jason Guffey has over 14 years of professional photography experience & law enforcement experience combined. He successfully ran numerous portrait studio and photo finishing labs throughout the Southeast. He owned his own photography studio & photo-finishing lab for 10 years specializing in commercial & portrait photography using medium format, 35 mm, and digital equipment. He has served his law enforcement career at Union County Sheriffs Office in Wingate, NC, Matthews Police Department in Matthews, NC and currently serves as Forensic Photographer/Crime Lab Technician for Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department in Charlotte, NC. He has been an active member of North Carolina Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America and has completed numerous training for companies such as Fuji and Kodak. He also has numerous court experiences with forensic cases and has testified on Capital Murder cases as an expert introducing key evidence with a successful conviction rate. Direct involvement in major crime scene incidents including the crash of a US Airways commercial plane at the Charlotte-Douglas Airport in 2003.
